Bought a firearm online or from an out-of-state seller? Have it shipped to Atlas Gun Services on Telge Rd in Cypress. We receive it, log it, run the paperwork and background check, and hand it over when you come in.

First gun: $40
Each additional gun in the same transfer: $20
NFA items such as suppressors: $50

Example: three guns = $40 + $20 + $20 = $80

How a Transfer Works

Buy your firearm online and choose Atlas Gun Services as your FFL.
Your seller needs a copy of our license. Email t.montgomery@atlasgunservices.com and we'll send it.
Walk in Mon-Fri during shop hours (no appointment needed), or book a Saturday or Sunday appointment.
Complete ATF Form 4473 and the background check.
Pay the transfer fee and take your firearm home.

FAQ

How much is an FFL transfer at Atlas Gun Services?

$40 for the first gun and $20 for each additional gun in the same transfer. NFA transfers are $50.

Can I ship a gun I bought online to you?

Yes. Choose Atlas Gun Services as your FFL at checkout and have the seller email t.montgomery@atlasgunservices.com for a copy of our license.

Do you handle suppressor and NFA transfers?

Yes. We're a Type 07 FFL with Class 2 SOT, and NFA/suppressor transfers are $50. Call (214) 763-4542 for details.

Do I have to be a Texas resident?

For handguns, yes: federal law only allows a dealer to transfer a handgun to a resident of the dealer's state. Call us about long guns.

FFL Transfers for Cypress and NW Houston Buyers

Buying a firearm online is easy; getting it into your hands legally is the part we handle. Federal law requires that a firearm bought from an out-of-state seller, or shipped by any online retailer, go to a licensed dealer in your state. Atlas Gun Services is a Type 07 FFL with Class 2 SOT at 13380 Telge Rd Ste 805 in Cypress, a short drive for shooters in Cypress, Jersey Village, Katy, Spring and NW Houston.

When your gun arrives, we receive it and log it into our records. You come in, fill out ATF Form 4473, and we run the background check. Once you're approved and the transfer fee is paid, the firearm goes home with you.

Tips for a Smooth Transfer

- Tell the seller to email t.montgomery@atlasgunservices.com for a copy of our license before they ship.

- Put your name on the shipment or send us your order number so we can match it to you quickly.

- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID with your current address. If your ID address is out of date, bring the documents that show your current address.

- Handguns must be 21+ and long guns 18+.

- Buying several guns at once? Each additional gun in the same transfer is only $20.
