Why Cerakote

Cerakote is a thin-film ceramic coating that's applied and then cured. It resists wear, corrosion and chemicals better than most factory finishes, and it adds very little thickness, so parts still fit and function. It also lets you choose almost any color or pattern, from a single solid color to multi-color designs.

What to Expect

1. Send photos or stop by with your firearm and your color ideas. We quote before starting. Pistols start at $100 and rifles at $350; more colors, patterns and parts cost more.

2. We fully disassemble the gun, then clean and media blast every part so the coating bonds properly.

3. We apply your colors, cure the coating and reassemble the firearm.

4. Every gun gets a function check before pickup.

Most jobs take 1 to 2 weeks.

Cerakote for 2011s and Competition Guns

2011s are our specialty, so we're comfortable coating high-end slides, frames and grips without hurting fit. Pair a new finish with optic mounting or a full cleaning while the gun is apart.
